My family cannot say enough about (Carl) Tom Thumb! When we first went to the outer banks for our wedding vendors, Carl invited us to his beautiful home to try his food. His neighbor brought some fresh tuna over and even though we hadn't planned on incorporating it into our dinner menu, it was so good, we couldn't resist. The BBQ, tuna, and shrimp were fantastic. He was early, prepared, organized, and the food turned out better than we could have imagined! We were so very lucky to have found this gem for our special day.

Carl (Tom Thumb) is the best! Super easy to work with, very accommodating and to top it off... he is as sweet as sugar! The food was amazing! The BBQ was cooked that morning and pulled at my reception! The hushpuppies are to die for! Mac and cheese was the bomb, says the kids! Beans and slaw couldn't be beat! Totally recommend the prices, value, quality, quantity, and taste! Loved it!

Carl and his team were really terrific! Leading up to my wedding, Carl made sure everything was squared away and on the day, his entire team rocked it. The food was fantastic (we ate all the leftovers the next day!) When my nephew couldn't eat the BBQ sauce due to an allergy, they prepped some special ribs with the dry rub, only. I needed a bartender, so Carl locked one in for me. I needed some extra people to stay and clean up the desserts and drinks, so Carl provided. The girls that helped were so extremely helpful. I couldn't have picked a better caterer. I would recommend Tom Thumb's Cookouts to anyone looking for delicious BBQ for a reasonable price and excellent service!
